| ABOVE: In June of 2005, the footing was poured followed soon after by the foundation. Foam insulation was added to the interior wall of the foundation. Excess dirt and organics were dug out of the footprint and replaced with crushed stone. |
ABOVE: After pouring the concrete floor, construction waited until after the Fall Festival. Framing began in October. Carpentry work was carried out by a crew from Henry Abbott Tech in Danbury. Framing continued into the winter. |

| ABOVE: Even before the roof was finished, a crew from B&D Controlled Air came in and installed the forced hot air heating system. The furnace was kindly donated by Ray and Zan Glowaky of Killingworth, CT. |
ABOVE: This photo, taken on March 6, 2006, shows that the addition is well along. The siding is currently being stained in the Restoration shop and barn sash windows are being framed out at Abbott Tech. A crew from Abbott Tech's Electrical Dept. has begun installing electric service. |
