INDUSTRIAL HALL EXPANSION
Update as of 3/6/06

The Industrial Hall expansion was started in the spring of 2004. Since posting the original IH expansion page, the addition has gotten a roof, its gotten painted and temporary exhibits have been set up. It is planned that this year, the center 12' aisle will be poured as well as pouring the concrete floor under the C.H. Brown engine. The remainder of the floor will stay unfinished until permanent exhibits have been laid out.  Also, we are planning to sheet rock and paint to match the original Industrial Hall, as well as install steam lines, lighting and electric service.

We are still on the lookout for a smaller (8-10' flywheel) steam engine employing the Corliss valve design to round out our collection.
