Steam Rollers
|
CAMA has an extensive
collection of road construction and earth moving equipment and much of
it still runs and does work. From a number of early steam powered steam
rollers to the later gasoline powered rollers, our collection varies
from small tennis court rollers up to huge road rollers. Our
Buffalo Springfield road roller is still used at CAMA to smooth our
dirt roads prior to the Fall Festival.

Besides rollers, CAMA has a diverse collection of other
earth moving equipment. Shovels and backhoes, are often seen at work at
our Fall Festival and Elmer Sega's large Bay City Crane looms over the
entire site. CAMA has a number of road graders varying from a
non-powered, towed, Adams Leaning Wheel grader up to a large gasoline
powered Galion road grader.

Cletrac Bulldozer
|
CAMA's bulldozer collection includes
Cletracs and Catepillars dating back to the 1920's. Many of the
smaller dozers would have been used on larger farms. Not shown,
but in our collection, is an operating rock crusher, a well pounding
rig, a very early well drilling rig with a wooden derrick, and a
number of other pieces of equipment.
