This show has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception 18 years ago.
Northwestern Connecticut winters can be notoriously bad, so the Spring Power-Up will be a good chance to bid the cold weather goodbye. Unlike the Fall Festival, our Spring Power-Up will be a showcase of our own extensive collection of steam and internal combustion engines, tractors, the historic Cream Hill Agricultural School and the Connecticut Museum of Mining and Mineral Science.
That being said, either member or non-member outside exhibitors are welcome to bring their machinery and set up for one or both the days. Show off that new purchase or that fresh restoration project. There is no charge for exhibitors to display their antique machinery-related items.
We are extending an special invitation to outside vendors who are welcome to set up for a nominal fee. If you would like to sell (vend) at the Spring Power-Up, please call us with your request [(860) 927-0050].
As with the Fall Festival, only antique, vintage or machinery-related items may be sold at the Power-Up.

CAMA's own extensive collection of antique machinery will be highlighted at the Spring Power-Up. See the new addition to our sawmill display. In our Industrial Hall, our stationary steam engines spring to life, including our large C.H. Brown steam engine with a massive 14 foot diameter flywheel. New steam engines have recently been donated to CAMA so don’t miss seeing them. Come see our Nagle-Corliss engine run. Come to the Industrial Hall and see live steam in action. Over in the Diebold Hall, our museum- and member-owned tractors will see the light of day after a long hard winter. On our narrow gauge railroad tracks, our 1925 Hawaii Railway Co. #5 Baldwin steam locomotive will steam up for a few trips up and down our track. Our 1922 Plymouth Diesel locomotive will be out and about. Visit the Mining Museum and see what John has been up to all winter.

***Please note that we are at the mercy of the "machinery gods". Although we make every effort to get our antique machinery running, we can't always predict that all machinery will be operational on the day of the Power-Up***
So bring your friends and family and come on down to CAMA. Any vendors that want to set up on the grounds should contact us ahead of time (860) 927-0050 so we can get an idea of the space needed. Remember that during the Spring Show, we park cars up top on the exhibition field in front of the Agricultural Hall which is very central to all the action. The lower parking field would only be used for overflow parking.
